If you think I’m exaggerating here, let me just say that I have never seen a video like this in a gun store. I’ve seen it on TV. I’ve seen it in the movies. I’ve seen it in some video games.
The video starts off with an interview with a guy named Chad Smith, who is a former college football player who retired after having a concussion due to head trauma. After he retired he decided to go into the gun business and started a gun shop. Chad is the man behind Thrustmaster. He does it through his wife, who runs the shop.
A couple of weeks ago we published a blog post that talked about a bunch of the issues that thrustmaster has been wrestling with. On that post we talked a little bit about how the company has moved away from a “one gun, one gun, one gun, one gun” philosophy. They are not just focusing on one gun anymore. They are looking to make guns that can be used for a variety of tasks.
I have to say, the video has me wondering what the hell is going on with that. They even use the same words in both the video and the post! I guess what I am trying to say is that there is a lot of talk about how thrustmaster is different than other gun companies. But in real life what they are doing is exactly the same.
Thrustmaster has been a leading innovator in the gun industry for several years now. They have developed a new style of gun that can be used for a variety of purposes, including self-defense, hunting, competition and just plain fun. They have also released several new line of guns, and they recently launched a new line of assault rifles. They are still a young company, though, and still trying to refine their business.
While I’m sure the gun companies can’t help but think of themselves as the “best and brightest” in the industry, I think we can all agree that their success has led to a growing backlash against them. What started as a reaction against the cheap, plastic assault rifles they sold to the military ended up becoming a big-time backlash against the gun companies themselves.
